The 105th edition of LINEAPELLE took place from February 25 to 27, 2025, welcoming 1,320 exhibitors from 45 countries to the halls of Fiera Milano Rho. In a period of transformation for the industry, the fair reaffirmed its role as a key reference point for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain, offering a comprehensive overview of future trends and sustainable innovations.
Despite global challenges, international participation was significant, with over 24,000 industry professionals, including buyers from the United States, South Korea, China, and Japan, supported by ICE and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among the most anticipated initiatives, the Lineapelle Designers Edition featured emerging and established designers such as Mario Dice, Leonardovalentini, and Zenam, who redefined the concept of luxury through leather and innovative new materials.
At the heart of the fair, research and innovation took center stage with the Science-Based Fashion Talks, organized in collaboration with SPIN 360. These discussions addressed sustainability challenges, from decarbonization to new environmental regulations, emphasizing the key role of the leather supply chain in responsible fashion.
Excellence in craftsmanship was showcased through special projects such as "In The Making – Act IV," an experiential journey combining technique and creativity, highlighting the versatility of leather with live demonstrations and interactive workshops. Additionally, Masterpell reaffirmed its leadership, presenting collections that emphasize quality and artisanal expertise.
Education played a fundamental role, with institutions such as the European Institute of Design, IUAV of Venice, and the London College of Fashion taking part. Young talents were involved in experimental projects, exploring the future of design and craftsmanship through a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
LINEAPELLE continues to be a privileged meeting point for professionals and creatives, demonstrating how the leather industry can evolve through research, sustainability, and the enhancement of expertise. An essential event for the sector, looking optimistically towards the challenges of tomorrow.
